The Asian Association for Sport Management (AASM) successfully held its 2nd Executive Committee Meeting of 2026 on August 20, 2026, at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee reviewed the progress of AASM’s activities and preparations for the 2026 AASM Conference and General Assembly. Committee reports on marketing, community relations, education, and the Asian Sport Management Review were also presented. The committee further discussed the selection of outstanding papers for the 2026 AASM Conference and plans for the 2027 AASM Conference.
The meeting concluded with productive discussions aimed at strengthening academic collaboration and supporting the continued development of sport management across Asia.
