The Asian Association for Sport Management (AASM) successfully held its 2026 General Assembly on August 21, 2026, at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, during the 2026 AASM Conference.
The General Assembly brought together AASM delegates and Executive Committee members from across Asia to review the Association’s activities and discuss its future direction.
During the meeting, reports were presented on AASM’s membership, finances, marketing, community relations, education, and the Asian Sport Management Review. The Assembly also reviewed the 2026 AASM Conference, which featured 190 presentations and 249 registered participants.
Key discussions included the selection of outstanding papers for the 2026 AASM Conference and the bid for the 2027 AASM Conference.
The General Assembly concluded with productive discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration among AASM members and promoting the continued development of sport management across Asia.
